Single Malt that comes from the world acclaimed Auchentoshan Distillery in Glasgow Scotland are delicate and smooth, distilled three times to remove all possible traces of impurity. The third distillation producing a flavour and taste experience that is unlike any other.

Matured in American bourbon casks Auchentoshan American Oak is pure liquid gold.

Swirling the bright liquid around the base of a whiskey tumbler, the fragrance is of vanilla bourbon, tropical coconut and zesty fruit which invite you to take a first sip.

The tongue is richly rewarded, pampered and wrapped in soft layers of flavor. Luscious smooth vanilla cream dances lightly with refreshing white peach. Then it is seduced by the rich sweetness of coconut. Auchentoshan's purity shines, it is smooth and yet crisp and clean to the very end, the finish bringing sweetly sugared pink grapefruit together with a delicate touch of spice.

Taking the IWSC Silver Outstanding in 2014, Auchentoshan American Oak is truly delicious neat or with its flavors and tones released with a splash of water. It also makes sensational cocktails such as the refreshing American Oak Apple Vanilla.

To make it, take a highball glass 1/2 filled with ice cubes. Squeeze in the juice from one wedge of lime, stir in 1 ¾oz of Auchentoshan American Oak and 3 ½oz pressed Apple juice.

Garnish with wedge of lime.
