TASTING NOTES

Aroma

As I let the glass sit, I begin to notice sherried aromas of raisins and dates, some dark bittersweet chocolate and a welcome but delicate scent of pipe tobacco. Palate
The palate is pleasantly pleased when the aromas carry into the tastes. Beginning with the spicy toffee and rich vanilla, the chewy fruit combines with a peppered orange marmalade and damp tobacco. What sounds like mouth full of confusion turns out to be a full of character and dimension that takes time and patience on the palate to appreciation the true value of what 15-25 years in the barrel can really do. Finish
