Neat , on the rocks, or open it with a splash of water; the nose is rich caramel and rye, creamy butterscotch, red summer berries, soft vanilla and oak.
Perfectly balanced and medium bodied, the delicious flavors of sweet caramel, rye, vanilla and wood dominate the palate. Roll it over the tongue, soft and smooth. One can discern layers of pepper, baking spices, almonds and leather.
The finish has a biscuity, woody, rye spice character, mingled with slowly fading caramel and herbals.

1½oz Russell’s Reserve 6 Year Old Rye
1 part Simple Syrup
1-3 dashes Aromatic Bitters
Pour into glass overall ice and lemon peel and stir well. Garnish with a simple twist of lemon peel and/or a Maraschino cherry.
